We are Probita Medical Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 17554498. Registered office: 92 Chiswick High Road, London, W4 1SH. Our registered office is a legal address, not a contact address. Please do not send post, records or instructions there: email us, or use the portal if you have an account.
What this website stores on your device
Nothing. This website:
- sets no cookies, of any kind;
- stores nothing else in your browser (no local storage or similar);
- uses no advertising, tracking pixels, social media widgets, heatmaps or session recording;
- loads its fonts, images and pages from this site only. The one exception is the small script for Plausible Analytics, described below.
Counting visits: Plausible Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics to count visits to this website in aggregate, so we can see which pages are useful. It shows us totals such as the number of visits, the pages viewed, which website or search brought visitors here, the country and city they were in, the type of device and browser, and how many people clicked our main buttons and email links.
- It uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device.
- It does not identify you, and it does not follow you to other websites or from one day to the next.
- Your internet (IP) address is used only to estimate your country and city, and to make a daily changing code that lets Plausible count you once a day. The address itself is not stored, and the code cannot be traced back to you once the day is over.
- Plausible holds the data in the European Union.
Because nothing is stored on your device and the statistics are only used to improve this website, you will not see a cookie banner. You can still object at any time and stop your visits being counted:
- block plausible.io in your browser, or use a browser or extension that blocks analytics (many do so automatically); or
- follow Plausible’s instructions for excluding your visits, which add a setting to your own browser that tells the script not to count you.
You can also email us to object. There is more about how this information is used, and your rights, in our privacy notice. Links to other websites, such as the ICO’s, take you to sites with their own cookie policies.
The Probita portal
The secure portal that solicitors, experts and Probita staff sign in to is separate from this website. It uses only the cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in securely, and explains them when you sign in.
If this changes
If we ever add a cookie, or anything else stored on your device, that is not strictly necessary, we will update this notice first and ask for your consent before setting it. You will be able to say no.
