Probita Medical is an independent medical reporting organisation. Law firms instruct us, we instruct a suitably qualified independent medical expert, and we manage every case through to the final report on our own secure platform, built for medico-legal work.

Built on our own platform
Probita runs on its own case-management platform, built for it. Law firms, medical experts and our team each have their own portal onto the same case, so everyone works from one up-to-date record.
Our secure portal is launching soon. Until then, instruct us by email and we’ll keep you updated on each case.
AI in our workflow
AI is built into the work around each report, to save time and catch gaps. It never touches the medical opinion.
Records are sorted, paginated and indexed, with a chronology and summary prepared for the expert. It is standard, and included in the fee.
Each report is checked against its claim type’s checklist: the instruction’s questions answered, Part 35 statements present, names and dates consistent. A person checks anything flagged.
Reminders and status updates go out automatically, so firms and experts can see what is needed without chasing.
AI never forms or changes a medical opinion. The opinion is the instructed expert’s alone: they check any summary against the records and sign the report under their duty to the court.
Probita gives no medical opinion. We switch on each AI feature only once it has passed its own testing, and our team does the same work by hand until then.

Security and data protection
Security is built into every part of how we work, not added at the end.
Case data and documents are stored and processed in UK (London) data centres.
Encrypted in transit and at rest, using established managed services.
Every account uses two-step sign-in, and each person sees only what their role allows.
An audit trail records who did what and when, and cannot be edited.
One fee per report, with the expert’s fee and records review included, and extended credit terms available.
Reminders go out before report, Part 35 and court deadlines fall due, so nothing is missed.
We work for any instructing firm, with ties to none, and we pay and receive no referral fees. Experts write their own opinion.
